The Father and Son Legacy Explorers Camping Experience is 12 years of taking Jacksonville fathers and sons into the woods together. It's named for Vietnam veteran Arthur Lee Stephens. We ran these trips for nine years before there was ever an organization behind them, and we've been a formal nonprofit for three.

At the heart of our mission is a simple but powerful goal:
to help fathers and sons build meaningful bonds, develop life skills, and grow into confident leaders—together.

Through guided outdoor adventures, skill-building workshops, and intentional time away from everyday distractions, we create an environment where relationships deepen, conversations open up, and lasting impact begins.

SPONSORSHIP LEVELS

 

Send a Son, $75

Covers one boy's spot on a trip.

 

Trail Partner, $375

Sends a father and both his sons. Your name on our sponsor page and a thank-you post.

 

Campfire Sponsor, $750

Sends two fathers and their sons. Everything above, plus your name on the trip banner.

 

Legacy Sponsor, $1,500

Sends ten boys, about half our year. Everything above, plus your logo on the trip shirt and photos from the trip you can share yourself.

 

Arthur Lee Presenting Sponsor, $2,500

Sends every father and son we take out this year. Top billing on all trip materials, an invitation to the send-off, and a written report with photos when we get back.

 

We also take in-kind. Food, gear, printing, transportation, water and ice, or a photographer for a weekend. Call 904-444-2556.
